British flautist Clare Langan studied at Purcell School, Durham University and the Royal Academy of Music.
Her eclectic repertoire spans concertos to solo recitals, to chamber music and a classical crossover cabaret show which she performs worldwide.
Always keen to push the boundaries of the conventional 'Classical World' her effervescent personality, passion and vitality, not to mention stunning costumes delight audience wherever she performs.
Not solely a flautist, Clare is also a creative with a passion for composing, writing and sketching. Her first book, 'Simply Be More', a collection of sketches with accompanying wisdom was published in December 2022. You can order your copy HERE or at all good book shops.
In the summer of 2021, Clare was invited by the Founder of the non profit, Lost Chord UK to take over as CEO. She had been a performer for the charity that provides interactive music sessions for people living with dementia and complex health needs for over 20 years so felt she simply had to help continue the journey in whatever way she could.
Clare dedicated two years to this demanding role and resigned in August 2023, paving the way to concentrate on new ventures and to Simply Be More...
